Blade TMA

The Blade Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) is a safety device designed to protect road workers and motorists by absorbing the impact energy of errant vehicles. It is attached to the rear of a host vehicle, such as a truck, to shield workers during road maintenance or construction activities.

Key Features:

• Patented Design: The Blade TMA features a unique construction with composite aluminum welded profiles and 12 internal blades. Upon impact, the first four blades slice through the aluminum composite H-beams, while the remaining eight blades cut through the welded tubes, allowing the aluminum parts to bend safely away and effectively absorb the impact.
• Crash Testing: It has undergone full-scale crash testing according to the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) standards, ensuring its effectiveness in real-world scenarios.
• Deployment and Storage: The Blade TMA stows vertically on the back of the truck, providing the entire length of the bed to transport cones and barrels when the attenuator is not in use.
